Calibration terms and conditions

This certificate is issued by TRESCAL (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD, hereafter referred to as TRESCAL, subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. METHOD OF CALIBRATION

The equipment received for calibration shall be calibrated according to International Standards, other Published Standards or approved In-House Methods, as discussed and agreed upon by the customer and TRESCAL. In the absence of any written instructions to the contrary, the customer is deemed to have agreed and accepted the method(s) used by TRESCAL for the calibration of their (the customer’s) equipment. TRESCAL shall state in the certificate, the calibration method/international standard used for calibration.

2. WARRANTIES

In carrying out the calibration, testing or inspection, TRESCAL guarantees that it has exercised reasonable care and diligence, but no warranties, implied or otherwise, are given with respect to TRESCAL’s calibration/test results, services or facilities.

If any customer is not satisfied with the calibration/test results, they shall contact TRESCAL within one week (seven calendar days), after which no claims will be entertained.

In providing this certificate, TRESCAL does not in any way imply the suitability of the equipment for the customer’s intended use. TRESCAL shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any direct or indirect special or consequential damage.

3. USE OF RESULTS AND REPORTS

The results reported for the calibration/testing performed by TRESCAL apply only to the particular equipment at the time of calibration/testing. These results do not indicate or imply that they are applicable to other, albeit similar, items.

Unless otherwise expressed in writing, this report does not indicate or imply that TRESCAL approves, recommends or endorses any manufacturer, supplier or user of any equipment, or that TRESCAL, in any way, warrants the equipment’s performance after calibration.

This report shall not be used for advertising purposes without the prior written consent of TRESCAL.

4. LOSS AND DAMAGE

TRESCAL shall not be held responsible/liable for claims by any person/organization, loss or damage to any person or property directly, indirectly or allegedly caused by the equipment.

TRESCAL, its collection centers and collection agents shall not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment during transit to and from TRESCAL and within TRESCAL premises. The customer shall solely bear the risk of loss or damage to the equipment. Insurance coverage of the equipment shall be the responsibility of the customer.

TRESCAL shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for defects in/failure of/loss of any equipment or for the consequences arising from any such defects/failures/losses.

5. LIEN

In addition to any right of lien to which TRESCAL may be entitled to by law, TRESCAL shall be entitled to a general lien on all equipment, of the customer, in their possession, for the price of any goods or services sold or rendered to the customer that payment has not been received for, or for any other payment due to TRESCAL.
